Rallying around women’s health & wellness

International Women's Day was celebrated with great zeal as Brand On Wheelz, in collaboration with Rainbow Children's Hospitals & BirthRight, Marathahalli, Bengaluru, presented a special roadshow aimed at raising awareness about women's health and well-being.

Under the theme ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress’, the roadshow commenced on March 8, starting at Rainbow Children's Hospitals & BirthRight, Marathahalli. Dr. Meghana Reddy, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology, graced the flag-off ceremony. The route spanned various prominent locations in Bengaluru city, including Phoenix Market City, Nexus Shantiniketan, Nexus Whitefield, and other branches of Rainbow Children's Hospitals.

Dr Meghna Reddy, along with Dr. Samarpita Dutta Choudhary, Medical Director, of Bangalore Cluster, and senior staff members, led the initiative. Fifteen members from Rainbow Children's Hospitals accompanied the car rally, symbolising the hospital’s collective commitment to women's health and empowerment.

The roadshow allowed attendees to receive information on women's health and wellness. Interactive sessions were also conducted, providing a platform for dialogue and learning. The event was open to all and completely free of charge.

In alignment with the spirit of International Women's Day, Mohammed Asghar, CEO of Brand On Wheelz, remarked, "Empowering women was not just a noble endeavour; it was a strategic imperative for societal progress. By investing in women's health and well-being, we accelerated the overall development of communities and societies."

Dr Reddy emphasised the importance of such collaborative efforts, stating, "Ensuring women's health and prosperity is pivotal for building a resilient and equitable society. This roadshow served as a testament to our commitment towards that goal."
