Amar Ujala launches outdoor campaign in Lucknow to thank its readers

Leading Hindi daily Amar Ujala took the OOH route to express the group’s gratitude its readers on the occasion of the newspaper becoming the number one daily newspaper in Lucknow, as recognized by the latest ABC July-December 2014 report. The campaign was rolled out in association with the group’s in-house OOH agency Autdoors, covering the entire city of Lucknow.

The campaign was executed on high impact billboards, unipoles, bqs, and gantries. While the brief of the campaign was simple, it was important that the media was selected and placed properly to effectively reach out to the entire city without being too loud about it. Autdoors’ planning team came up with the strategy to have a presence at all entry points into the city as well as important market areas. To give a surround effect to the overall communication, transit media options were judiciously used to reach out to the public.

The agency took just 24 hours to plan and execute the campaign in the city and demonstrated extremely quick turnaround to ensure the communication reached the audiences in the shortest span of time.
