The 21.56-km Majlis Park–Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus section of the Majlis Park–Shiv Vihar corridor of DMRC Phase 3 has become operational, boosting the Metro connectivity between North Delhi, Ring Road and South Delhi.
With the opening of this section, the South Campus of Delhi University is connected by Metro to the university’s North Campus and the Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus station will be a major transport hub for students attending colleges in the South Campus. This line will be Delhi Metro’s second corridor to be operated using the Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling technology which facilitates movement of trains with a frequency of 90-100 seconds.
This corridor comprises 12 stations that include Punjabi Bagh West, Durgabai Deshmukh South, Netaji and Subhash Place. These stations will provide ample branding opportunities to various categories of brands. Along with the static media, this Pink Line also has digital format for advertising.
