Milky Mist has marked Janmashtami with a special on-ground activation in Worldmark Gurgaon, built around its Skyr yoghurt range available on Zepto. The centrepiece of the activation is a large decorative jhula, styled in traditional purple and gold, complete with hanging bells and a peacock feather motif, evoking imagery associated with Lord Krishna.

Placed at a busy public space, the installation combines a tall backlit panel carrying the “Happy Janmashtami” message with the Milky Mist Skyr product visual, alongside the swing structure below it. The panel also carries the line “Gokul ke dahi-maakhan chor ke liye Janmashtami ka bhog,” tying the brand’s yoghurt offering to the festival’s association with curd and butter.

The activation uses the large swing and its festival connection to grab attention in a busy area. By using a familiar symbol of the festival, the brand connects tradition with its product and encourages people to order Skyr yoghurt on Zepto during the festive season.

The installation shows how brands are using festive and culturally relevant activations to stand out in public spaces, instead of relying only on traditional hoardings or digital ads. It also highlights how quick commerce platforms are becoming an important part of experiential campaigns, turning attention into immediate purchases.
