BBMP floats tender to build skywalks
15 skywalks have planned out of which 6 to open this month-end; no intimation about advertising yet
BBMP unveils the plan to construct 15 skywalks in different parts of the Bengaluru city. As published by a national daily, the corporation has proposed 120 skywalks across the city of which 33 have already been completed while construction of six skywalks is expected to get complete by the end of this month.
These skywalks are located at key places of the city including one of the proposed structures is an integrated skywalk on Magadi Chowk that will connect the metro station to leprosy hospital.
The corporation has, reportedly invited tenders for the project under two package system. However, there is no intimation yet on the advertising rights to be given on these public utilities.
