Collaborative approach from local bodies with IOAA is essential: Indrajit Sen
Indrajit Sen, Consultant, IOAA in East Talks OOH conference in Kolkata shares his thoughts the way forward for outdoor industry and the positive steps to be taken for it.
Indrajit Sen, Consultant, IOAA at the recently held East Talks OOH conference in Kolkata, presented his topic about’Crisis in the Outdoor Media Industry & Steps for tomorrow’ and shared that IOAA was formed to give a national solution for outdoor industry as a whole. The talk was followed by a question-answered session by Soumitra Bhattachryya, CEO, Madison Out-of-Home Media. The IOAA working committee has observed that the business issues everywhere are more or less similar with challenges like delay in PO’s, clutter, etc. According to Indrajit, the industry needs a collaborative approach to solve these and for this IOAA has formed a National SOP, Drafted National Policy for outdoor, MOU and AAI and monthly JWC meetings, intervention at State High Courts, Credit Control issues are looked upon, research initiated for a syndicated measurement metrics for the overall development of outdoor vertical.
