Vinay Pant, an acclaimed marketing leader and consultant, joins the esteemed lineup at the OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) 2025. He will bring his extensive strategic expertise to moderate the pivotal panel discussion: ‘OOH Media is not a commodity: So, who is commoditising it?’ Vinay will steer a meaning discussion to arrive at a new understanding of  the out-of-home media and explore ways of elevating it.

As the former Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Motors – Passenger Vehicles, Vinay spearheaded initiatives that solidified Tata Motors’ position as the undisputed market leader in the SUV space. His strategic leadership, fueled by extensive buzz creation and impactful social media engagements, significantly increased market share and brand affinity through the premiumization of flagship models like Nexon and Harrier, resulting in substantial growth in Net Promoter Score (NPS).

Previously, as Head of Marketing at Maruti Suzuki, Vinay was instrumental in creating the pioneering retail experience brand ‘NEXA’. He successfully repositioned the existing dealer network and its constituent brands, effectively elevating Maruti Suzuki to a premium brand status. His tenure also saw the seamless integration of digital transformation into Maruti Suzuki’s dealer network and the launch of impactful, consumer-focused campaigns, which collectively contributed to increased market share and an elevated brand perception. 

Vinay dedicates his free time to mentoring and advising startups and media companies, leveraging his vast experience to cultivate the next generation of marketing leaders and provide invaluable insights to the industry.
