Gaurav Deepak to speak on’Financing OOH Business’ at OAC 2015
Gaurav Deepak spearheads Avendus’ flagship Financial Advisory business and leads the firm’s international operations
The Indian OOH industry is at an inflexion point. Rapid expansion of physical infrastructure across the country — in particular transit infrastructure, a growing segment of on-the-go professionals who spend increasing time out of home, adoption of interactive technologies, and the like are creating new growth avenues for OOH business. To leverage the emerging opportunities, many of the OOH firms will need to scale up their operations. The moot questions re, do they have the financial wherewithal to tap into new markets, and what are the financing options available to them, such as equity financing by private equity, venture capital and angel investors.
Gaurav Deepak, Managing Director, Avendus will cover these areas while speaking on the theme of’Financing OOH Business’ at the Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) which will be held at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel during July 24-25.
Gaurav spearheads Avendus’ flagship Financial Advisory business and leads the firm’s international operations. He has worked on several large and complex engagements in M&A, Private Equity Syndication, Equity Capital Markets and Fixed Income. He has more than 17 years of global investment banking experience. He is based out of Mumbai.
Prior to co-founding Avendus, Gaurav worked with ICICI, a leading Indian financial services firm.
He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
