Sunder Balasubramanian, Chief Marketing Officer of fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Myntra, is set to leave the company after nearly four years. His current week is expected to be his last at the organisation.

Sunder joined Myntra as CMO in November 2022. Before taking up the role, he held marketing positions at Coupang and Disney+ Hotstar and also worked with Colgate-Palmolive. Confirming his exit on LinkedIn, he wrote, “Looking back, I’m proud of what we built together – the problems we chose to tackle, the culture of ownership we nurtured, and the drive to keep pushing further every year. But more importantly, there is much to be grateful for.”

His departure comes ahead of the 2026 festive season, a key period for the fashion and e-commerce sector. Myntra has announced plans to create more than 26,000 seasonal employment opportunities across fulfilment centres, last-mile delivery and contact centres to support the upcoming festive demand.

The company has not yet announced Balasubramanian’s successor or shared details regarding the transition of the CMO role.
