Digital insurance company ACKO has elevated Nitin Khanna to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, marking a key leadership transition as the brand continues to scale in India’s competitive insurance x tech market.

Nitin, who has been with the company for over seven years, most recently served as Vice President – Marketing. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership roles within the organisation, playing a significant role in shaping its marketing function and growth strategy. In his new role, he will lead brand strategy, consumer engagement, and growth marketing as ACKO sharpens its positioning as a digital-first insurer.

Prior to joining ACKO, Nitin worked with companies including Ola and MakeMyTrip, where he led marketing initiatives across categories and channels. His early career also includes consulting roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The development comes as Ashish Mishra steps down from his role as CMO after nearly six years with the company. Ashish, who led marketing at ACKO since 2020, played a key role in building the brand’s identity and driving its growth during a critical phase in India’s digital insurance evolution.

With Nitin taking over the marketing mandate, the company is expected to continue strengthening its brand narrative and consumer engagement as it enters its next phase of growth in the digital insurance space.
