Zepto and Lakmé Partner for innovative sun-powered OOH campaign

Quick-commerce platform Zepto, in an innovative collaboration with beauty giant Unilever’s Lakmé, has launched a unique out-of-home (OOH) campaign at Mumbai’s iconic Juhu Beach, leveraging the very element it aims to protect against: the sun.
The campaign features a strategically placed billboard that, while seemingly simple, casts a powerful and direct message onto the sandy beach itself. Utilizing the sun’s movement, the shadow projected by the billboard dynamically reveals the message: “LAKMÉ SUN EXPERT DELIVERED IN 10 MINUTES – zepto”.
“Our billboard went live at Juhu Beach, and we truly let the sun do the talking!” shared Chandan Mendiratta, Chief Brand and Chief Culture Officer at Zepto. “This was a nutty idea to begin with, but it beautifully aligned our goals with Unilever’s Lakmé. We wanted to remind people to use sunscreen where they need it the most, and what better way than to let the sun itself deliver that message?”
