PepsiCo and The Mandalorian & Grogu build galactic OOH experience
The campaign is executed in UK across Bauer Media’s Salford domination sites
Ahead of the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, PepsiCo has launched a special-build OOH campaign for Wotsits Giants in Salford, UK, transforming Bauer Media’s domination sites into a playful galactic-themed installation inspired by the film.
Built around the line “The Galaxy’s Most Wanted Snacks,” the campaign features a large-format outdoor execution where giant Wotsits curls appear to float mid-air between adjoining billboards, creating a gravity-defying visual inspired by the Star Wars universe.
One side of the installation promotes the upcoming theatrical release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, while the adjacent Wotsits Giants creative integrates oversized 3D snack extensions that physically emerge from the billboard structure. The floating Wotsits create the illusion of Grogu using “The Force” to pull the snacks across the site, turning the installation into an interactive storytelling moment.
Executed across Bauer Media’s Salford domination sites in the UK, the campaign uses special-build OOH elements to merge entertainment marketing with snack branding through humour, scale, and contextual creativity. The floating structures add depth and dimensionality to the execution, helping the campaign command attention within the urban landscape.
