Signpost India Limited has officially been granted exclusive outdoor advertising rights for the “Kolkata Streetscape Renaissance” project by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). Executed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the mandate covers some of the most high-profile corridors in the city, including Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani), Camac Street (Abanindranath Sarani), Theatre Road (Shakespeare Sarani), and the Park-o-Mat facility.

The contract spans a primary tenure of 10 years, with a provision for a two-year extension. The scale of the agreement is significant, with the gross advertising revenue projected at approximately ₹450 crore over the concession period. Under the terms of the filing, Signpost India will provide an annual fixed revenue of ₹16.38 crore to the KMC, featuring a 5% escalation every three years. Total projected revenue to the Authority, including State GST, is expected to exceed ₹250 crore over the duration of the contract.

This project is aimed at modernizing the urban aesthetic of Kolkata’s central business and cultural districts. By securing these rights, Signpost India expands its footprint in the Eastern region, adding high-traffic, premium inventory to its national transit and streetscape portfolio. The win reinforces the company’s strategy of securing long-term, infrastructure-linked advertising assets in major Indian metropolitan markets.
