Zen Digital Media launches hoarding on water

By M4G Bureau - March 17, 2021

The first such hoarding was launched along the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in Mumbai earlier this week.

Digital start-up Zen Digital Media has launched an out-of-home advertising platform named Broadcasters. Much like the massive LED screens for digital OOH seen on busy thoroughfares on land, this new platform uses self-propelling vessels to carry LED screens on water.

Broadcasters will provide its collaborators the novel, tech-heavy platform, where it’s up to the creator to exploit the screen to its maximum capacity. The other features include Over-the-air (OTA) real time content updates, multiple creative changes and placements, proof-of-play data and flexible options to carry forward un-utilized screen time, explains Sanjay Raval, co-founder, Zen Digital Media.

The four year old agency hopes to enhance its offerings going forward to help brands build a better connect with the audiences through an interactive approach.

Explaining the concept of a hoarding on water, Raval says, “India has a massive coastline, with important cities. Also, we are not limiting ourselves to the coasts. There are several river systems in India too where Broadcoasters will thrive. While, outdoor billboards on mainland continue to be a part of the advertising mix, Broadcoasters will help brands separate themselves from the crowd.”
