TOMI has been awarded with a gold in the ‘Interactive Urban Solution of the Year’ category, at the Innovation & Excellence Awards, organised by Corporate Live Wire Awards, from the United Kingdom.

This award distinguishes the continued innovation of TOMI in providing information to all citizens and tourists about a city and helping them explore it in a simple, intuitive, and quick way, with all the essential content they need.

TOMI works as a valuable technological solution for cities, enabling a closer relationship between “city-citizens”. Over the 11 years of R&D, and 9 years of real street experience, TOMI has evolved and offered its users new interaction features, including the adaption of the devices to people with impairments, as well as adapting its contents.

Over the past few months, TOMI has been implementing multiple technologies that help in Covid-19 prevention. It is possible to interact with TOMI without touching it, using the TOMI Remote Control, which allows them to interact with TOMI via their smartphone. Users only need to read the QR Code with their mobile devices and can explore all content (news, events, points of interest, transports, …) or even take a selfie.

Over the year, TOMI has been awarded in several categories of Smart Cities, Design, DOOH, Media, eGOV, Tourism, Mobility, User Interface, and User Experience, Digital Marketing, Accessibility and Inclusivity, Engagement, Innovation, and Technology, among other relevant areas.
