Site-N-Sign bags sole marketing rights at Jammu airport; introduces eco-friendly ad displays

The tender for Jammu Civil Airport was initially won by Jayashree Advertising for a period of 10 years and subsequently Site-N-Sign Media Network secured the exclusive marketing rights from them for the entire tenure.

 

Mumbai based Site-N-Sign Outdoor Media Network has taken its first step in the airport advertising segment by securing exclusive marketing rights for advertising displays at Jammu Civil Airport. The tender for Jammu Civil Airport was initially won by Jayashree Advertising for a period of 10 years and subsequently Site-N-Sign Media Network secured the exclusive marketing rights from them for the entire tenure.

Jammu city is the gateway city for Jammu and Kashmir and the winter capital of the state is also popularly known as the 'City of Temples.' Bestowed with a rich heritage and cultural legacy, Jammu has promising tourism potential. The city is famous for religious tourism and the holy shrine of 'Mata Vaishno Devi' is 46 km from the city. During the year 2016-17, passenger traffic movement at Jammu Airport reached 1.16 million and the passenger growth rate has touched 29% in the first quarter of 2017-18.

Jammu’s upgraded and newly inaugurated Rs 80 crore state-of-the-art terminal building at the airport will now showcase newly installed fabric back lit advertising signage’s that are made of sustainable materials which are 100 % recyclable.  These signages, installed by Site-N-Sign throughout the concourse of the airport, are made of eco-friendly fabric display boxes instead of PVC plastic displays. This makes Jammu Airport the first state in India to establish such environmental friendly signage’s. These back Lit boxes also use high efficiency LED lights that are more attractive, energy efficient and durable and also result in significant cost and Co2 savings. These high efficiency LEDs can last up to 10 times longer than traditional lighting sources, which reduces waste. As brands are becoming more environmentally conscious, Site-N-Sign is leading the way towards a more sustainable and environmental conscious way of advertising in order to attract new generations of eco-savvy consumers that are increasing at a steady pace.
