Sapphire expands transit portfolio with new acquisition

The company has bagged sole rights for 96 BRT bus shelters in the capital

A Delhi based media owning firm, Sapphire bags the sole media rights for BST corridor bus shelters. Total 96 bus shelters have been allotted by the DTIDC authority for the duration of 25 years. These shelters are spread across premium locations of South Delhi such as Lajpat Nagar, GK, Panscheel Enclave, ITO, Pragati Maidan and etc. with a display area of approx. 200 sq.ft each. The shelters will also have side display formats such mupis and lollipops.

“We are overwhelmed with this new acquisition as it is quite a premium property. This is a step forward towards building a huge transit network to offer best solutions to our clients along with our Pink line metro media. These shelters capture all important destinations of the capital hence we are expecting a good response from the market’, shares Sahil Mangla, Founder & Director of the company.

The company has plans to refurbish these shelters and turn them into stainless steel backlit high-quality media with cut-out options on the top. The media is expected to be ready in next 2 months duration.

Prior to this, the company also bagged the media rights for Pink Line of DMRC.
