The 12th edition of the Big CIO Show held in Bengaluru brought together an impressive array of industry leaders who shared their knowledge and experience with the attendees. The event divulged valuable insights and actionable strategies that are sure to help attendees stay ahead in the rapidly changing tech landscape.

12th edition of the Big CIO Show held in BengaluruOne of the most exciting moments of the event was the launch of Intel's latest offering, Xeon, which promises to accelerate performance across the fastest-growing workloads. Trescon also made a significant announcement regarding the launch of the Digital Acceleration & Transformation Expo (DATE), an upcoming event that will feature 10 co-located events and attract over 10,000 business visitors in New Delhi on November 23 & 24, 2023. DATE was launched by H.H. Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiya, the Maharaja of Mysore, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of Honor and lit the lamp to mark the beginning of the Big CIO Show.

Addressing the event, H.H. Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiya said, "The key focus, or what we (Mysore Heritage of Innovation and Entrepreneurship) want, is to be the cyber security beacon in India and also bring in an economic driver for Mysore so that this IT infrastructure, which is already overburdened in Bengaluru and many cities, can be supported. The overall good that it brings for empowering the economy can be brought to cities like Mysore." He added, "We can grow Mysore by keeping the heritage, culture, and charm but also marrying it with modern facilities that are required going forward. This was the motive behind our idea, and we are very happy to be here today."

Big CIO Show covered a wide range of relevant industry topics through panel discussions, keynote presentations, and other engaging sessions. The prime attraction of the event was the Big CIO Awards, which honoured the top 100 Leaders & Innovators and celebrated the best and brightest minds in the tech industry. 

Panel: Beyond DX: Driving Innovation & Transformation

One of the most thought-provoking and engaging sessions at the event was the panel discussion titled "Beyond DX: Driving Innovation & Transformation". This panel explored the importance of CIOs adapting to an ever-changing market and embracing the digital disruption that the latest and emerging technologies have brought to the market. Throughout the discussion, the panellists emphasized the importance of embracing innovation and transformation to stay competitive in the fast-changing digital landscape. They explored the challenges and opportunities that come with digital disruption and provided practical advice for companies looking to drive innovation and transformation in their organizations.

The discussion featured leaders from some of the most successful organizations in the industry, including MakeMyTrip, Titan, Daimler, Tata CliQ, and Practo. These experts shared their experiences and insights on how their organizations have adapted to the changing times and moulded their way of doing business based on their customer demands.

Panel: Once in the Cloud, there is no turning back

Another highlight of the event was the insightful panel discussion titled "Once in the Cloud, there is no turning back". The panel delved into the theme of creating digital experiences, exploring the ways in which businesses can leverage advanced technologies like AI and ML to achieve operational excellence. 

The panel consisted of top leaders from adept and innovative organisations in the business world, including Zee5, Zivame, Paper Boat, LIC Mutual Funds, and Udaan. These experts brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion, providing significant understandings and strategies for creating engaging and personalized digital experiences that can help businesses stand out in a crowded market.

The event also featured other noteworthy topics that provided attendees with important revelations into the latest trends and challenges in the industry. An exciting session titled "Securing Sensitive Data with Confidential Computing: Opportunities and Challenges" was the Intel exclusive panel discussion on confidential computing, exploring its potential benefits and challenges. 

Keynote presentation: "Future Forward: Digitally Transformed India"

Two captivating keynote speeches were delivered at the event. Vikram Chauhan, Director & Head of Enterprise & Government Business at Intel India spoke about "Future Forward: Digitally Transformed India" and emphasized digitalization's potential to drive growth in an inclusive India despite Covid’s challenging business landscape. Ramprakash Ramamoorthy, Director of AI Research, ManageEngine, discussed the "Future of IT Delivery," going beyond digital transformation to technological transformation.

Keynote presentation: "Future of IT Delivery

Finally, the "Humans with Machines" a fireside chat that discussed the ways in which AI can augment and transform the human and robotic workforces, rather than replace them, and shared learnings on leveraging these technologies for growth and innovation.
