Rajib Basu, Partner and Leader - Entertainment & Media, PwC India to address OAC 2022

Rajib Basu will be sharing his perspectives on the ‘Changing contours of Indian media landscape: Prospects for OOH’ in the opening session of Outdoor Advertising Convention 2022 that will be held at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on August 17-18

The media landscape is experiencing tectonic changes in the wake of shifts in media consumption patterns. Some of these changes have occurred at a faster pace in the pandemic period, triggered by changing lifestyles, growth of new media channels, adoption of adtech on a much wider scale. Brands too are gravitating fast to integrated communications and omnichannel marketing. How would these developments impact the growth and development of Indian OOH?

Rajib Basu, Partner and Leader - Entertainment & Media, PwC India will be touching upon these aspects in this address on the theme of ‘Changing contours of Indian media landscape: Prospects for OOH’ at the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention 2022 that will held at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on August 17-18. Rajib will be speaking in the opening session of the convention.

Rajib leads the Media & Entertainment industry vertical for PwC India owning P&L responsibility for the sector. He has 23 years of post-qualification working experience with his career spanning across PwC (20 years)  and KPMG.

Rajib has extensive experience in the field of Internal and management audits, enterprise risk management advisory business process improvement, developing financial accounting manuals, statutory compliance framework & standard operating procedures, risk management and Sarbanes Oxley related assignments for media & entertainment, and metal & mining. He has worked on audit and advisory assignment both within India and abroad.

Prior to rejoining PwC in 2018, Rajib was working with KPMG as the Risk Consulting Leader of the Eastern regionwhere he was involved in managing audit and advisory work for various multinational companies. Rajib has worked 2 years in the PwC UK practice primarily in Sarbanes Oxley, internal audits and IT audits.

Some of his key past and present clients include Entertainment Network India Ltd, Ananda Bazar Patrika, ABP News (erstwhile Star News), Hotstar, Zee, Dentsu, Publicis India, WPP (Sox), ArcelorMittal (CIS, Africa), Tata Steel and Group Companies, Tata Power group companies. Rajib is the subject matter expert for the assignments executed for BCCL and Group Companies.
