‘One industry voice central to self-regulation & business growth’

Noomi Mehta, Chairman of IOAA, Indrajit Sen, CEO of IOAA and Ritesh Vasudeva, Vice-President of IOAA North Chapter deliberated upon the goals and objectives of IOAA North India Chapter at a panel discussion held at the Delhi NCR Talks OOH Conference

Comparing the diversity of Delhi region with the outdoor market, Noomi Mehta, Chairman, IOAA, which addressing the Delhi Talks OOH Conference, held in Gurugram on November 17, explained that Delhi has ample variety of food, languages and etc, likewise the Delhi based media owners also come with different mind-sets, culture and history which is essential to be put together via single purpose. Against this backdrop the recently established IOAA North India Chapter will play a vital role by threading the diversified interests and issues together and sorting them.

The panelists for the session Indrajit Sen, CEO of IOAA and Ritesh Vasudeva, Vice-President of IOAA North Chapter explained that to drive business success in the Delhi market, standard norms need to be enforced. Noomi also quoted that more than the vision, the outcome depends on the proper implementation of the norms and guidelines. Citing an example of SOP implementation by the IOAA, he said that the Delhi market needs a common voice for self-regulation.

Describing their plan to further strengthen the roots of the regional chapter, Indrajit shared that conveners from different cities of northern markets are being appointed who will be assigned the task to look after the regional issues and become a connecting point with the association.
