NR invites bids for toilet complexes on BOT basis in lieu of commercial rights

The high quality toilets shall be constructed by firms at their own costs and shall be operated and maintained by them on Pay and Use basis, with provision for value added services and rights for commercial advertisement through glow signboards, etc.

Delhi Division of Northern Railway has invited bids (Bid No. 7/PUB/Deluxe Pay & Use Toilet/2016) for provision of Deluxe Pay & Use public toilets on "Build, Operate and Transfer" (BOT) basis at 34 railway stations including New Delhi, Delhi and H. Nizamuddin stations for a concession period of 15 years.


The tender notice states that the high quality toilets shall be constructed by firms at their own costs and shall be operated and maintained by them on Pay and Use basis, with provision for value added services and rights for commercial advertisement through glow signboards etc. on the interior and exterior walls (subject to a maximum of 75% of available surface area) of the building of the Toilet Complex.


The tender document may be downloaded from the Northern Railway website (http://www.nr.indianrailways.gov.in) latest by 1PM, October 24, and the last date for submission of tender and opening of tender are scheduled on the same day.
