Delhi-based railway media specialist Media On Track has recently won exclusive and consolidated train branding rights for four important trains of Indian Railways for a period of 10 years. The contract offers the OOH firm the rights on train wrap advertising, in-train branding and development of other advertising inventory on New Delhi Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express, August Kranti Express running between Nizamuddin and Mumbai Central, Mumbai Central Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express and Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad Double Decker AC train.

Rajeev Mittal, Director, Media On Track Entertainment Pvt Ltd, said, “Railways has the biggest inventory for outdoor advertising. We are helping them monetise that immense potential.”

Media On Track had executed the Kurkure Family Express in May this year -- whereby the snack brand had created phenomenal visibility for itself only through train branding. “We plan to continue to offer similar experiences after this win,” he said.

Apart from train wrapping, Media On Track will provide various branding opportunities inside the trains like newspaper jackets, catering staff’s branded uniforms, Vendo Man (turning catering staff into human banners who carry backlit glow signs) who will carry samples of products, branded disposable cups, tray mats for meals, etc. Media On Track has already tied up with MNCs, FMCG majors to start branding with these four trains. “We have new entrants from categories like BFSI and auto majors,” Mittal added.
