Grandesign brings on board Doug Hecht to reinforce $100mn growth plan

Grandesign, one of the fastest growing OOH media solutions companies in the US -- headquartered in San Diego -- specialising in over-the-top outdoor campaigns and unique brand engagement, has announced the appointment of entrepreneur and advertising veteran, Doug Hecht, to the company’s Advisory Board. The addition is key as the company enters a new growth stage—turning a $40 million company into a $100 million company.

Hecht will work with Grandesign’s advisory board to define key strategic initiatives that continue to attract the right kind of clients and drive the company to the top of the marketing food chain. As an advisor to the executive team, Hecht will lend his expertise in relation to mergers and acquisitions, operations, public relations and business strategies.

Hecht, an investor, entrepreneur and executive leader joins Grandesign with over 20 years of experience in management, digital advertising, marketing and business development. Prior to Grandesign, Hecht was president and chief operating officer of global digital agency Digitaria, now Mirium Agency.

Additionally, Hecht previously served as board chair of SDX, formerly San Diego Ad Club, and invests time and money towards building a better startup for the San Diego community.
