Goafest recognizes excellence in OOH

Goafest 2016, held recently in the beach capital of the country recognized the out-of-home and experiential media potentially.

Goafest 2016, India's foremost advertising, media and marketing convention, whihc recognises the excellence in use of media such as Print, TV, Cinema, Outdoor, Radio, Events, Digital & Social Media amongst others, was recently held at the beachtown of Goa.

In the outdoor category, Social Street has won Gold for Britannia Good Day's "Smile to be surprised” campaign, Lodestar UM won silver for "Operation zero mosquito” campaign and Kinetic India won bronze for Cadbury Silk Chocolate's "Silk now bubbled up for joy” campaign. Amongst experiential media, Happy Creative Services won silver for OLA Boat campaign, Mindshare Media won silver for Close Up toothpaste's "Make your first move with close up” campaign, Social Street won silver for Britannia Good Day's "Taking the red carpet to Dharavi” campaign and Red Fuse Communications won bronze for Sugar Acid Neutralizer's "Hidden sugar receipt” campaign.

Speaking about the line-up for the event, Ambi M G Parameshwaran - President, Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) said, "It is wonderful to see so many advertising, media and marketing companies coming together to make Goafest 2016 the most talked about event in the industry. The atmosphere is rife with enthusiasm as professionals from across the country come together to share learn and bond.  If the scene on day one is anything to go by, I'm pretty sure the next two days are going to be just as exciting with some exemplary speakers taking the stage and some must attend seminars taking place.”
    
Extending his congratulations to the winners, Raj Nayak - President, The Advertising Club said, "It is such a pleasure to see such tremendous work from brilliant minds winning much deserved Abbys for their efforts.
