Armour Digital OOH is ‘Powered By’ Sponsor of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022

Bengaluru-headquartered Armour Digital OOH, one of India’s top OOH firms with media operations at airport, railway stations, malls, and bus stations, has taken up the ‘Powered By’ sponsorship of the 16th Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) that will be held on August 17-18 at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake (what was earlier Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre).

Since its inception in 2004, Armour Digital OOH has maintained a sharp focus on technology application in OOH business, and is a forerunner in India’s DOOH space. Anil Hirani, Managing Director, Armour Digital OOH says the march of technology is blurring the geographical boundaries of OOH/DOOH businesses. “OAC is a prism through which our industry sees the contours of OOH growth opportunities in the making. It is gratifying to see this convention directing particular focus on the technology side of business, and that appeals us in a big way. We are glad to be partnering the organisers of OAC 2022 in making this event a great success.”

Today, as the industry gears up to board a higher growth trajectory, DOOH will be the veritable growth engine, asserts Anil, while referring to the myriad innovative DOOH formats that coming on the scene. While civic bodies are introducing more DOOH-friendly norms that open up opportunities for large format digital advertising on the cityscapes, transit areas like airports, railway stations, bus stations, Metro rail stations, and a host of moving media formats like cabs, and buses are also seeing a DOOH renaissance, with networked, smart advertising displays that are powered by cutting-edge adtech solutions.

Alluding to newgen innovative formats, Anil makes a specific reference to digitally-powered audio advertising at transit locations like bus stations that create a theatre-like environment – complete with information, advertising and entertainment content. Malls too are witness to DOOH advertising growing in scale.

It may be noted that OAC 2022 will be preceded by the highly anticipated Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2022 contest. The winners of the OAA 2022 will receive their metals at the high voltage OAA 2022 Awards function that will also be held at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on August 18, 2022.

In a significant move to shine the light on cutting-edge technology and creative solutions for OOH/DOOH, the OOH Expo 2022 will also be organised simultaneously at the Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, on August 17-18, 2022.

OOH Expo 2022, planned as India’s largest exposition of state-of-the-art OOH technology, equipment and creative solutions.
