Abhay Tewari appointed as MD & CEO of Star Union Dai-ichi Life

Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Ltd (SUD LIFE) has announced the appointment of Abhay Tewari as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from 15^th May 2021.

SUD LIFE is a joint venture of Bank of India, Union Bank of India and Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Limited, Japan. Abhay Tewari joined as Appointed Actuary of SUD LIFE in the year 2014  and held the position of Joint President and Chief Actuary until he was elevated as MD & CEO.

Abhay was with Edelweiss Tokiyo Life Insurance as Chief Actuary for 4 years and with SBI Life Insurance as VP- Deputy Chief Actuary for 2 years 11 months .
