The acquisition of the Irus Optomechanics Ltd. operations comes as OSG rolls out its innovative technology, ScreeneX® for the transportation sector - new, informative and entertaining window with embedded LCD panel which allows the control and tailoring of data and information displayed to passengers.

OSG, a leading global flat and curved glass designer and manufacturer, has announced the acquisition of digital signage operations from Irus Optomechanics Ltd., a screen technology and display specialist for the retail industry, airports, bus and train stations.

Irus Optomechanics Ltd., established in 2002, operates in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East, offers advanced digital signage solutions at competitive prices due to its unique technology and production methodology.  A global pioneer in transparent screens for signage applications, it provides custom made, plug and play visual and audio solutions.

The acquisition of the Irus Optomechanics Ltd. operations comes as OSG rolls out its innovative technology, ScreeneX® for the transportation sector - new, informative and entertaining window with embedded LCD panel which allows the control and tailoring of data and information displayed to passengers. Embedded into glass, the ScreeneX® can be used in public transport, in stationary applications, in military applications, and a large variety of retail applications.
