WAX agency ideated and executed the campaign at strategic high-footfall locations of Canada including parks, trees, parking areas, bathrooms and drainers.
Calgary Horror Con organized its yearly conference which is dedicated to
horror with an aim to develop networking and collaboration between all
horror-related artistic activities in Cananda. And to create a buzz
regarding the same, the organizers brought the horror on the roads by
utilizing OOH medium interestingly. The OOH campaign duties were handled
by WAX agency of Canada.
Different high-footfall locations were
selected to tap large number of audiences like parks, trees, parking
areas, bathrooms and drainers. Several innovations were executed at
different avenues to create the effect, such as-
- Weapon Posters: These posters were placed on wild poster boards,
trees, telephone poles around downtown Calgary. Each poster had a 3D
foam core horror movie weapon attached so that it looked like the poster
was hung up by the weapon.
- Zombie Heads: These were placed on car antennas around Calgary.
- Vampire: The agency set up the Vampire skeleton installation in a
park on Calgary's busy 17th Avenue to generate buzz about Horror Con.
