Volvo cars expands retail dealership, opens showroom in Pune

Swedish car company Volvo Auto India opened its dealership in Pune recently. The latest addition is an attempt to strengthen the retail dealership network and create a Scandinavian luxury experience for its discerning customers. The showroom was inaugurated by Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India. Flyga Auto has been appointed as dealers for all Maharashtra except Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. Having a 12000 Sq. ft. showroom in Baner, this showroom is in line with the latest Volvo Retail Experience that promises Cool-outside Warm-inside Scandinavian hospitality. Volvo Cars appointment of Flyga Auto marks the beginning of a cohesive effort to build the brand in this Industrial hub of Maharashtra.

Announcing the opening of the showroom in the city, Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said, “Yesterday we announced the start of assembly in India and the opening of Pune dealership underlines the brand’s intention to double our segment share in the medium term. The right partner in Pune is the critical part of the brands success and we are geared up to providing the best in class services to our customers here.” Volvo Cars currently markets products through its dealerships in South Delhi, West Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata Jaipur and Vijayawada.
