Lawrence & Mayo expands its retail footprint in Eastern markets

The brand plans to open more stores in metro city Kolkata as well as in the districts and suburbs of West Bengal in the coming fiscal.


Lawrence and Mayo, India’s premium optical retailer recently unveiled their two new stores in and around the city of Kolkata, one at the northern fringes of the city at Sithi More and the other at Sreerampur, in the Hooghly District. The stores are of 600 and 800 sq. ft. approximately and follows the standard store design principles of the brand.

Lawrence & Mayo is focused at expanding their retail footprint in the metros as well as in the tier II regions. Suman Anjoy, Official Spokesperson, Lawrence & Mayo said, “It is our constant endeavour to reach out to our valued customers, and in this quest, we are going to spread our base to the Tier II locations in East.” The brand may also look at opening exclusive boutique stores in the prime locations of the metro cities covering retail space of close to 1000 sq.ft.



"We at Lawrence & Mayo, with a current all-India network of 116 stores have embarked upon a robust expansion drive with a growth rate of 11% every year and we are all set to open 60-70 new exclusive outlets in India by 2021 end primarily targeting the Tier-I and Tier-II cities,” added Anjoy.
