Inorbit Mall plans to extend presence in southern & western regions of the country

Inorbit Mall is planning to extend its presence to bigger cities in southern and western parts of the country in states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra. Taking Inorbit closer to customers, Inorbit has recently started their e-commerce site and social media communities. Talking further on expansion plan, Rajneesh Mahajan, Executive Director, Inorbit Malls said, “We plan to add 2.5 million sq ft of space all over southern and western parts of India in the coming 4-5 years which will require an estimate of around INR 2000 crore as an investment.”

Inorbit Mall Malad is also planning to allocate more space to F&B and entertainment along with giving more space to edgy fashion brands both from national and international categories. Talking on strategic mix of brands and expansion, Mahajan shared, “When we started 13 years back, many brands chose Inorbit as the first shore to embark in the country. Over the years, we have studied the categories of brands carefully and have marked a few observations like how cosmetics, wellness, beauty and F&B have come up in a big way. Based on those, over the years, we have let go certain categories like kidswear, grocery etc. In the coming time, brand selection and allocation will happen more sharply.”
