SnapBizz, a retail-technology firm, was founded in 2013 to transform the small scale retail sector in the country. To reverse marginalization of SMB's and drive digital inclusion in the large consumer goods industry, it has developed a technology platform to connect all stakeholders of the fragmented retail ecosystem of India, adding value to individual stakeholders.

The solution is based on a cloud-connected android tablet which is a cost-effective business platform that connects FMCG companies, traditional retailers and consumers. With over 9 ml stores, traditional "kirana” stores make 98% of universe and 85% of the business. However today'kirana' shoppers are walking off to other channels (Modern trade / eCom) and retailers feel the threat here. Snapbizz is a solution for retailers to embrace technology platform to transform them into smart stores."  Snapbizz helps the retailer retain shoppers, increase basket sizes by smart communication using digital mediums (LED TV showing promotions at Point of Purchase, Hyperlocal SMS campaigns, accurate bills). It saves retailer reduce losses and save time in store operations (credit and inventory management). For CPG companies, it provides a much needed last mile connect to shopper and retailer. Brands can now contextually engage consumers in store (LED TV/ On bills) & out of store (hyperlocal SMS), get business insights (consumer basket analytics, shopper behaviour & store dynamics). "Today, we are at about 1500 outlets in 6 cities and quickly scaling up to at least 10000 in near future,” Chirantan Bhabhra adds.
