Hindware opens its first Galleria store in Kolkata

It is a strategic move to strengthen the brand's retail footprint in the Eastern market

Brand Hindware, recently launched its first concept retail outlet'Galleria' in the city of Kolkata. Spread over 1300 sq ft, Hindware Galleria offers an ideal environment for consumers and their focussed TG like architects, interior designers and B2B buyers alike to envision, recommend and design bathrooms of choice.  

The store encapsulates and reflect the behavioural as well as perceptual change among new age consumers when it comes to bathrooms and buying bathroom products. The store highlights the core spirit of the brand - 'Bathrooms you keep admiring', in its décor, styling, product display. The clutter free ambience additionally provide consumers with an opportunity to appreciate and understand the minutiae details of each product, which in turn enable them to make an astute choice.  

Speaking on the retail launch, Manish Bhatia, President, Building Products, HSIL Limited said, "India is a strategic and competitive market for growth in the branded sanitary ware and faucet category. Consumer perception towards bathroom and bathroom products has not only changed in terms of design and technology but also in their buying pattern. Further Bhatia adds, "This particular showroom is aptly located in the expanding part of Kolkata and the USP of the store is we have the premium range of products like the Live Shower Station etc, and the Queo range from Barwood as well which is a major highlight for our TG. We would like to follow the same model for customer interface in terms of retail expansion. Pan India we have more than 150 stores, in East we are also looking at cities like Guwahati. Our product range is really well diversified starting from Rs.5,000 which can go upto Rs.5 lakhs and above, thus targetting everybody. Our in-store communication is in sync with our new TVC with Shahrukh Khan and the experience we are talking about in the audio-visual I believe that our consumers get a chance to have a real touch & feel familiarity through these type of live stores.”
