After its existing store in Gurgaon, Bosch has opened its first store in Delhi while this is Siemens's second store in Delhi after the one at South Delhi's Lajpat Nagar.

BSH Household Appliances has opened two new stores in West Delhi's Pitampura area for its premium free-stand home appliances brand Bosch Household Appliance and its super-premium brand Siemens Home Appliances featuring both free-stand and premium built-in home appliances. After its existing store in Gurgaon, Bosch has opened its first store in Delhi while this is Siemens's second store in Delhi after the one at South Delhi's Lajpat Nagar.

Commenting on this expansion, Gunjan Srivastava, MD & CEO, BSH Household Appliances Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. said, "At Bosch, we are committed in making the superior German technology more accessible to our valued customers in Delhi. Our focus is on increasing the overall foothold in North India. Bosch products boast features like visual appeal, energy efficiency, user-friendliness and performance. Markets like Delhi are our key targets for this retail expansion as the customers here not only have the spending power but also are inclined towards products which deliver top class quality and performance. Also we have certain features tailored for Delhi. For example since this region experiences water shortage,  Bosch washing machines have a feature called'ActiveWater' that not only uses less water but also allows to wash smaller loads of clothes with adequate amount of water. Similarly there's another feature called'VoltCheck' to arrest the issue of power fluctuation.”

The 1700 sq. ft. Bosch store houses the entire range of free-standing appliances that include washing machines, washer dryers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and the built in range which comprises of cooking hobs, hoods and ovens.

BSH also unveiled Siemens Home Appliances that features super-premium free-stand and built-in home appliances. The brand, celebrated as Germany's number one and Europe's market leader in built-in kitchen appliances, has solutions for luxury and aspirational homes and apartments. Unlike the former brand under BSH, Siemens features products that are aesthetically designed to suit premium spaces.

Commenting on this retail expansion, Gunjan Srivastava said, "North has been a key market for us, and with this store launch we reiterate our promise of increasing the accessibility to innovative appliances. With this second brand store in Delhi, we are looking forward to cater to this enthusiastic crowd, who are open to embracing futuristic, aspirational, stylish and innovative technology.”

On BSH's overall retail expansion plan, Srivastava said, "We have plans for a total of 1100 stores across the nation. As of now, we can talk about 20 Bosch and 23 Siemens stores, out of which 12 brand stores will open their doors at the end of this year. For Bosch, we are looking at cities like Mysore, Tirupur, Ludhiana, Hyderabad and Dehradun and for Siemens, Kochi will soon have a store. The brand is also tying up with brand stores and multi-store outlets for tier-I and tier-II cities. The service facilities of the brand are currently available in 200 cities which will scale up to 300 cities in future.”
