Horizon Packs Group installs Esko's workhorse digital sample maker

India's leading corrugated packaging organization, the Horizon Packs Group announced that it has installed an Esko Kongsberg XP digital finishing table and structural design software ArtiosCAD at the Pyramid Packaging plant outside Bengaluru.

The exceptionally robust Esko Kongsberg XP24 cutting and creasing table at Pyramid is designed for cutting extremely strong corrugated board. It can be run 24/7 for efficient short run production. "The USP of the Esko Kongsberg XP24 sample maker and software solution at Pyramid is that it processes a wide array of materials with a very short set-up time and at extraordinary throughput and speed. There is no need to wait for a die. In addition, a wide range of very versatile tools are available offering a complete packaging, signage and display (POP) solution with a single machine. The integration with the CAD editor allows us to run jobs from a single unit to full scale production with as many as a thousand units in a day. The XP's production power and quick change of tools ensures on time delivery, every time, even for complex jobs,” said Sachin Modi, Director of Pyramid Packaging.
