Innovation is confusing, but required to survive tomorrow: Charulata Ravi Kumar

In her presentation about innovation for profitable growth in the retail sector at In-Store Asia 2015, Charulata Ravi Kumar, CEO, Razorfish India emphasized that innovation should be put into place towards market changing strategies and ideas.


Speaking on the topic'Using Innovation for Profitable Growth' at In-Store Asia 2015 today, Charulata Ravi Kumar, CEO, Razorfish India, commented that innovation is confusing and is taking the hell out of everyone. But still, innovation is required to survive tomorrow. She believes that a lot of brands work on inward innovation and packet production.

"Innovation should be put into place towards market changing strategies and ideas. It is an extremely useful journey which at times though small can be disruptive,” she added.

Bringing innovation in her session, Charulata kept the audience engaged by interacting with them in a quiz format and giving away a book for every right answer from the audience. Charulata kept the audiences enthralled through her innovative interaction on innovation and ended on a positive note asking everyone to be "innovate fearlessly”, much like Hollywood actor John Travolta who evolved from'Grease' to'Pulp Fiction' and'Face Off' knowing that the overall average age of the generation will change dramatically along with the outlook. She defined innovation as something that never gives up, engages, and brings in whole lot of revolution.
