As the Indian OOH industry gears up for a major makeover, shaped by rapid urbanisation, infrastructure development and adoption of new technologies, the moot question is, can the media increase its share of the total ad spends. In many ways, media planners are at the centre of the decisions on ad spends. At the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) that will be held at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Mumbai, during July 28-29, 2017, Mamatha Morvankar, Managing Director - West OMD India, will touch upon this subject in her address on the theme ‘What will it take for media planners to believe more in OOH?’. Mamatha will also be participating in a panel discussion on the same theme.
