Zero Degree, K3A launch Outdoor Social Awareness Creative Campaign (OSACC) contest

Winners of the contest will have their creatives displayed on Kochi Metro pillar media, apart from getting cash prizes

Kochi-based Zero Degree and K3A (Kerala Advertising Agencies Association) are organising an Outdoor Social Awareness Creative Campaign (OSACC) contest inviting advertising agencies, brands, creative professionals, creative agencies, media agencies, freelance advertisers and freelance advertising groups to participate by submitting disruptive creatives on Covid-19 that have the potential to capture public imagination. The creatives may focus on: public awareness of Covid-19, positive impact of survival from Covid-19, and honouring the Covid warriors.

This contest has been designed to drive motivation and enthusiasm in the outdoor advertising fraternity after a long period of standstill. Some 1,200 Kochi Metro pillars across a 16-km stretch shall display the creatives from May 21. Some 50 brands along with the selected creatives shall be mounted on the Kochi metro pillar media for 15 days, out of which the best shall be awarded. Equipped with the advanced German backlit technology and placed on the prime location, the Metro pillars along the metro lines is well-connected for providing maximum visibility for publicity.

On this, Dany Antony, Managing Director, Zero Degree, commented: “Zero Degree is an organisation which always gives prominence to the social commitments in all its aspects. Keeping the same, we have taken an initiative to overcome this pandemic by giving the brands an opportunity to spread their message via a campaign displayed on the Kochi Metro pillar boards, absolutely free of cost. We are proud to be associating with K3A and the brands on this.”

Raju Menon, General Secretary, K3A, said: “Because of this pandemic there is not much of advertising. Zero Degree has an enormous number of outdoor media assets and K3A has some 200 group of creative agencies. We brought this effort of motivating creative people who can bring creativity along with a social message. This is a golden opportunity for the brands to participate in the contest associated with cash awards and win golden/silver awards because the winner will not only get 50k and 25k as the first and second prize respectively for each category, but also have their creatives displayed on the metro pillar boards.” All entries are to be submitted at
