Western Railway modifies advertising tender packaging

The Mumbai Central Division of the Western Railway has released a tender offering bulk advertising rights for a series of stations in a single package. Till now, this divisions was offering advertising rights for one station per tender. However, Vapi, Udvada, Valsad, Dungri, Billimora Jn., Navsari, Surat and Bardoli have all been offered for bulk advertising rights under one tender document, bringing the value of the tender to 1.42 crore.

 
The idea of offering a consolidated tender has been taken from 2nd Transit Media Talks held in Mumbai on 6th Feb 2020 where the honchos of outdoor specialist agencies made a point to offer rights for a specific corridor rather than offering each station separately making it a better selling proposition.

G V L Satyakumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division, Western Railway & Jagriti Singla, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Western Railway were also present at the conference who further implemented the point made during the panel discussion.

The EMD amount is Rs. 15,10,800 and the rights will be offered for a period of 5 years. The last day to submit the tender is 05.03.2020.
