Vodafone innovates with'Choose Your Number'

The brand has used an eye-catching innovation in Kolkata to drive the campaign

Telecom services major Vodafone has recently launched an OOH innovation for its'Choose Your Number' proposition which was tied to the brand's IPL 7 campaign in the Kolkata market spread over a month's duration. To create a high brand recall for the communication, the innovation was deployed at E.M. Bypass, a key traffic crossing in the city. The brand has also used outdoor media in several other parts of the city for this campaign.

Kinetic partnered the brand in executing the innovation which aims to inform the OOH audience that they can choose their favourite / auspicious number while taking a new connection from Vodafone.


On this initiative, Anand Sahai, Business Head, Kolkata & West Bengal Circle, Vodafone India, said: "As we do each year, Vodafone once again planned a high-decibel 360 degree marketing campaign for IPL 2014, with some in-built innovative activities.  The entire IPL 2014 campaign focused on Vodafone's superior customer service and promoted several such products and services from different areas like voice, mobile internet, customer service and retail.”

"The engaging nature of this outdoor creative for "Choose Your Number” has helped Vodafone to get top of the mind recall amongst target audience and positive response from the trade as well,” he said.
