Veena Khan, Deputy Secretary, Corporate Communications, LIC to speak at 2nd Transit Media Talks

Veena Khan will be sharing LIC’s outlook on transit media advertising

Veena Khan, Deputy Secretary, Corporate Communications, LIC Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), one of the biggest advertisers in the OOH space, is also a key brand advertiser on transit media. Down the years, the insurance major has leveraged OOH in a big way to reinforce its strong consumer connect across cities and towns. Veena KhanDeputy Secretary, Corporate Communications, LICwill be making a presentation on How transit media can be best leveraged by BFSI brands at the 2nd Transit Media Talks conference to be held at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai on February 6, 2020.

A life insurance strategist and marketing professional, Veena Khan joined LIC as Direct Recruit Officer in the year 1993 and began her career as Life Insurance Underwriter. In her career spanning well over two decades with LIC, she has handled diverse portfolios including the ones as Concurrent Auditor, Editor of LIC’s Corporate Magazine ‘Yogakshema’, Regional Manager (Direct Marketing) and as Corporate Strategist at Strategy Cell, Corporate Planning department, Mumbai

Veena is an ardent quantitative data analyst and holds keen interest in research. She has a deep understanding on measuring organisational performance, Balanced Score Card and has worked on implementation of Results Framework Document (RFD) in LIC, as an initiative of Performance Management Division, Government of India. She attended the Results Framework Document Workshop held by PMD, Cabinet Secretariat, GoI, in August 2011 and also the Norton-Kaplan Balanced Score Card Boot Camp held in October, 2012. She is a keen trainer and has delivered several lectures at the various training centres of LIC. 

A PGEP from IIM (Ahmedabad) and a Fellow of Insurance Institute of India, Ms Khan has also completed short courses on ‘Tracking Organizational Performance’ and ‘Quantitative Data Analytics and its Application in Business’ from IIM (Ahmedabad), and also Management Development Program at ISB, Hyderabad.
