UTI MF’s Deepak Saluja to address 1st Transit Media Talks Conference

Deepak Saluja, Executive Vice President, Head (Branding, Product & Channel Marketing), and Investor Education, UTI MF will speak on ‘What will it take for brands to up the spends on transit media’

Deepak SalujaAs more advertising brands view transit media as an important vehicle for their brand communications, it is vitally important for the OOH industry to come to grips with how the various transit media formats can best serve the advertiser. Deepak Saluja, Executive Vice President, Head (Branding, Product & Channel Marketing), and Investor Education, UTI MF will share his perspective on transit media advertising in his address on the theme of ‘What will it take for brands to up the spends on transit media’ at the 1st Transit Media Talks Conference that will be held at Courtyard by Marriott, Mumbai on February 28, 2019.

Deepak Saluja has nearly two decades of experience in providing innovative sales and marketing solutions, both in domestic and international markets. During his career, he has been instrumental in conceptualising and spearheading several innovative marketing activities such as Esprit Timecheck in partnership with Channel V and then MTV, conceptualisation and execution of pathbreaking SME initiatives for ICICI Bank, namely, Emerging India Awards with CNBC TV 18, SME dialogue with Economic Times, and SME CEO Knowledge Series. In his international stint with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, he was responsible for conceptualising and launching MENA's (Middle East and North Africa) biggest SME platform ADCB SME advisor magazine and Beyond Borders Business Awards. In his current role with UTI MF, he has steered several pathbreaking and innovative initiatives such as UTI Swatantra series, India’s biggest Investor education platform -- recognised by Limca Book of records, and several other innovative initiatives

Deepak has worked across industries from FMCG (Pepsi), and advertising (Lowe Enterprise) to Digital @ HTA (where he was a founding member), fashion retail (Egana Goldpfeil), SME Banking (ICICI Bank), and retail banking (ADCB).

The deliberations in some of the other sessions at the conference will touch upon:

• The big media investment opportunities in transit segments like Tier I & II airports, railways, Metro networks, bus transport networks, cabs, among others
