BQS media commands widespread audience reach in the city
It is reliably learnt that leading OOH media owning firm Times OOH has initiated the steps to surrender its media rights on bus queue shelters (BQS) in Mumbai, perhaps in light of the prevailing market conditions. An official communication sent by the OOH major to Mumbai-based media concessionaires, as ascertained by Media4Growth, suggests that steps have been initiated with the concerned authority for surrender of the media rights on the said media assets and that the process of removal of media on the BQS has begun. However, the communication does not state the reason for this move. The BQS, numbering some 1,265, is estimated to command widespread OOH audience reach in Mumbai city.
Media4Growth reached out to Times OOH for a comment on this development, but our email has gone unanswered thus far. If there is any further communication on this matter, we shall update this article suitably.
