Suresh Balakrishna to speak on impact of technology on OOH at OAC 2016

In today's hyper-connected world, use of digital and interactive technologies is imperative to establish deep consumer connects. In most of the developed markets, OOH businesses have embraced digital technologies to make OOH advertising truly engaging. The Indian OOH industry is seemingly at the threshold of a major technology makeover. Can technology bring about this makeover?

Suresh Balakrishna, CEO for India, the Middle East and South Asia, Kinetic Worldwide India, will share this insights on this subject in his address on the theme "How technology can be a game-changer for the Indian OOH industry”.

Suresh is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. In January this year, he joined Kinetic Worldwide as CEO for India, the Middle East and South Asia after a highly successful stint with IPG Mediabrands' Initiative and BPN. Suresh was integral to bringing BPN to India and growing the Mediabrands' OOH business across the country.

Earlier, in 2003 Suresh moved on from Lowe Lintas' Initiative Media as EVP and GM to join The Hindustan Times as Vice President - Media & Marketing. In 2005, he joined Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) and became Director -- Sales and Marketing for DNA when ZEEL joined hands with the Bhaskar Group to launch the daily'DNA' in Mumbai. He later held the position of COO of the daily'Mail Today', a JV of Daily Mail of London and the India Today Group. He rejoined Lintas Media (IPG Mediabrands) in 2012.
