Even as the Government of Karnataka plans for accelerated industrial development of the city of Mysore, OOH media owing firm Srishti Communications has established a visible media presence in the city by setting up some 40 digital OOH media inside the Mysore Railway Station. The firm bagged the rights from Railways in April this year to install and run digital TV screens at a station that sees significant movement of people. The contract has been awarded for a five-year period through the tendering process.

Srishti Communications maintains that "a Railway station is the only location where at any moment during the arrival or departure of a train one sees the maximum number of footfalls. Moreover, Railway as a medium of advertisement, and more specifically DOOH, is the most cost effective route to reach consumers.”

S Kumar, Founder Director of Srishti Communications says the firm also develops the content for the TV network inside the station to engage the vast multitude of waiting passengers there. An increasing number of advertising brands and government agencies are seen to be using this DOOH media.

This DOOH network further strengthens the OOH firm's strong footing in the transit segment, especially pertaining to Railways.
