Signpost India pledges to donate to PM National Relief fund

A sum of five Lac rupees will be donated for flood relief, road safety collected through photography contest and employees’ contribution

Signpost India, a leading digital out-of-home advertising enterprise and independent media infrastructure company has embarked up on initiatives by giving a clarion call for employees to donate their part of salary for flood relief and road safety as also raise funds through a photo contest that commences on World Photography Day, Monday August 19.

“The agency has given a clarion call to over its 300+ compassionate employees to donate part of salary to raise Rs 5 lacs towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the rehabilitation work of natural calamities and road safety across the country as part of their individual social responsibility,” said Shripad Ashtekar, Managing Director, Signpost India Private Ltd.

 Shripad Ashtekar, Managing Director, Signpost India Private Ltd.The current catastrophic crisis in the form of floods across the country is a wake-up call for fellow Indians to share the hardship faced by citizens affected by the natural calamity of floods and contributed towards re-building their lives, he said.

The agency is also raising funds by inviting all photographers and artist to submit their passion project with a definite chance to feature the work on premiere 100+ out of home media assets across the metros the fellow citizens need to click photographs with the theme `life on streets’ through their lens on the eve of World Photography Day.

Signpost has pledged to contribute Rs 10 on behalf of each participants to the National Relief Fund for each entry received from participants on social media platforms of #go4streets for the photo contest that will remain open till 8:00 PM, 21st August 2019.

Each entry received from the participants on social media platforms of #go4streets shall contribute Rs.10/- to National Relief Fund paid by Signpost India to felicitate and acknowledge the efforts towards photo contribution, Ashtekar said.

Signpost India would further organize an exhibition of the shortlisted photographs on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, at inner circle, Connaught place, New Delhi at its digital media network of 50 screens implemented under smart city project in partnership with NDMC, New Delhi.

The photo contest will be non-commercial in nature and will be open and free to all individuals to participate and the proceeds if any from the monetization of the photographs at the exhibition would directly go in the account of the National Relief Fund.
