Samaya Channel goes live on OOH

By VJ Media Bureau - April 09, 2014

Street Talk makes Samaya News Channel visible in Karnataka in an extensive manner.

Outdoor agency Street Talk executed a widespread outdoor campaign in Karnataka for Samaya News Channel which was launched recently. The objective of the campaign was to reach out to the entire state and generate word of mouth publicity for the channel. The campaign scale is pretty huge as 537 large format mediums have been used which are spread across 88 upcountry towns besides Bangalore City. The campaign has been deployed for a month's duration.

The campaign creative is catchy and talks in regional as well as English language about the on-going elections. Additionally, 75 different creative layouts have been made for the campaign. Interestingly the channel has mentioned a call to action contact number on the creative where the audience can call and approach the channel. This is working effectively for the brand as they are already receiving a large number of calls post this.

Considering the scale of the campaign, six printers handled the work and printed 3.87 lac sqr. ft. The agency executed the 160 vinyl fixers within 72 hours and the entire process of work was done with zero % error.

"Overwhelmed by the expectation of delivering a campaign of this scale, we did not get sleep for almost four days and slept like a log on the fifth day when my complete installation report was sent to the client. Right from selection of sites to the allocation of creative for 537 locations, we along with the team supervising campaign at the channel's end, have worked as one team. It would not have been possible for me to execute this campaign without their support and trust. At the end it gives me great pleasure to be part of this campaign where no space was left for error. I look forward for more such campaigns from Samaya in the coming days," says Tejasvi Kumar, General Manager - South, Street Talk.
