The ubiquitous public bus transport is a vast network of moving billboards that hyphenates the metro, non-metro, semi-urban and rural markets, and yet the bus media is seldom spoken about in mainstream media conversations. Prashant Mandke, a well-known rural marketing expert will set the equation right in his address on the theme of ‘How bus media can take rural marketing many a mile’, at the 2nd Transit Media Talks conference to be held at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Mumbai on February 6, 2020.
Prashant Mandke has experience of over 30 years of working with some of the best corporates and has held senior management positions, managing large multifunctional teams. Currently he is an Independent Advisor and works with Advertising & Promotion Agencies, Foundations, NGOs, Innovators / startups, and Consulting Firms.
He has extensive field experience of the Indian rural ecosystem. In the last 15 years he has worked on rural markets in consumer sales & marketing space and worked with consumer durables and later moved to media & advertising. Prashant has worked with some of the best brands in FMCG, Automobile, Agri inputs & Farm Machinery sectors to build their brands in rural markets and has extensive experience of leveraging range of media options including transit media.
Prashant was recognised as the Most Influential Rural Marketing Professional by CMO Asia. Among his recent corporate stints, he was VP & Head, Rural with Madison Communications. He was also Business Head - Rural Markets with Eureka Forbes.
