Pioneer Publicity inaugurates Pioneer House

By Bhawana Anand - August 20, 2014

The new corporate office houses all the departments of the company

Leading OOH firm Pioneer Publicity has opened its new corporate office'Pioneer House' on New Rohtak Road in New Delhi. The new 4-floor building -- with the company's logo prominently displayed on the façade -- houses all the departments of the company.

Sunil Vasudeva, Director, Pioneer Publicity Corporation, told Outdoor Asia, "There was a requirement for one big office as earlier the operations were being managed from different places which was a hindrance to our internal communications and work practice. Now, all our departments are under one roof.”

This new development is an opportune time for the firm to reinforce its business engagements and pursue new opportunities. Vasudeva maintains that investing in new projects and formats is a continuous process.

Commenting on the trend toward consolidation of OOH agency business in the country, Vasudeva said that was a good sign for the media owning business. "It would be good to have just a handful of big OOH agencies. There will be less competition in the market and we will be able to deal with them more easily,” he says. A highly fragmented industry does not augur well for the industry as a whole.

Stating that Pioneer Publicity saw steady business in the last few years, he sees scope for faster growth in the coming times. "Last few years have been average for us -- nothing fantastic or nothing too bad as such. There is always scope for improvement and we are working toward bigger goals. We plan to improvise the business by adding some profit making formats and also by adding more clients in terms of agencies and some direct brands.” he says.

"This year is also looking like last year with average business. There hasn't been any kind of growth. Even though we are hoping for some improvement in market conditions with the new government in place, the economy will take another 4-5 months to settle and grow,” he says. However, he sees the first signs of faster growth with enquiries from clients picking up now.
