Mumbai High Court retains previous order issued in license fee matter

The next proceeding is now scheduled for 12th June as the learned counsel representing case for the corporation has asked for a week’s time
The Bombay High Court, hearing on the plea for waiver of license fee on advertising for the month of May 2020 has issued a notice to the petitioners to submit the amendments in their petitions to the Municipal Corporation within a period of 2 weeks, if there are any. In the meantime, earlier order passed by this Court to continue i.e. no coercive steps to be taken by the authority for not paying taxes.
On the other side, the learned senior counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation has asked for a week’s time to take instructions in the matter, due to which no further proceedings could be done.
The next hearing is scheduled for 12th June 2020.
